One of the greatest things about London is its sheer diversity. There truly is something for everyone in the UK’s capital city, so it’s impossible for a visitor here not to find something they can enjoy, however long the stay. Whether you’re on a solo visit to the city for work, a couple looking for a romantic getaway, or a family hoping to entertain children of all ages, there’s something for you. We’ve collated this list of the very best concerts London has to offer this August.

Sounds and Sorcery celebrating Disney Fantasia at The Vaults

This show looks to be sincerely magical. This year marks Mickey Mouse’s 90th birthday (he looks fantastic for 90, we want to know what his secret is!) and he’s inviting the whole family along to celebrate with him. Sounds and Sorcery celebrating Disney Fantasia looks to be more than your average concert; the maze of underground tunnels at The Vaults will be bedecked with a series of installations inspired by the 1940’s Disney film for a true sensory experience.

You can easily explore the delights of one of London’s most fascinating theatres; the Vaults is just a few Tube stops from our Montcalm London Hotel, and just across the river from our hotel in Finsbury Square. A great occasion for families, this concert pairs iconic songs from the original picture with fantastical imagery including enchanting fairies, animated forests and, of course, graceful dancing hippos!

Britney Spears: Piece of Me at the O2

This summer, pop royalty is joining the residents of London and putting on a spectacular show guaranteed to have you dancing all night long. Millennials hoping to relive their childhood and teenage years will be flocking to the O2 this August to celebrate with Britney, who will be playing a whole range of her favourite songs.

Piece of Me isn’t just any live performance. This concert comes off the back of her award-winning and record-breaking hit Vegas show, which was attended by millions of people including stars such as Steve Tyler, Jay-Z and Katy Perry. The best part? The O2 arena is only a half an hour Tube ride from your hotel in Finsbury Square so you can be sure you’ll be on time to see the living legend that is Ms Britney Spears.

Great Big Summer Weekend

Looking for the perfect end to your summer holidays? Maybe you want to make this summer bank holiday epic. If so, head down to the Southbank Centre - just a short walk across the river from Montcalm Hotel London - and sample London’s most eclectic concerts which joyfully blend art, dance and music in their Great Big Summer weekend.

The Great Big Summer Weekend is a four-day event which is completely free and has entertainment for visitors of all ages, including indoor and outdoor concerts that will last all day and long into the night.
