As the heart of London’s theatre scene, Soho draws in celebrities from all over the world looking to catch a show or experience the area’s exciting nightlife. The club scene in Soho is known for being an escape for stars looking to let loose and escape the flash of paparazzi cameras. This high-end restaurant was built in 1595 and was initially used as a theatre for local performances. The historic building is located on London’s South Bank where it sits attached to Shakespeare’s famous Globe Theatre. Every town in the UK most likely has a pub called The Swan, but none are quite as iconic as this one.
During the day it’s often full of tourists taking pictures but if you wait until after the evening show and venture down to get a drink, then you may find yourself sitting across from some of the biggest names in Britain. This small backstreet at the rear of Oxford Circus wouldn’t seem anything special if you were to walk by it, but don’t let the quaintness fool you. This street is the home of London’s biggest acting agencies, some of which cater to the hottest names in the business.
If you decide to take a stroll down Margaret Street then you may be lucky enough to come across one of your A-list icons. Odds are they’ll be there on business so it may be a better idea just to look, unless you can’t help but ask for a quick autograph.

Unfortunately this well-known celebrity hangout is a members-only club, which means you may have to wait outside with your eyes peeled if you want to spot a famous face. Luckily there is sometimes a bit of leniency with non-members, depending on which bouncer is on duty. Try enquiring about a temporary membership to coincide with your stay with us.
