Here are some of the exhibits to look out for.

Legend of Babushka

You may or may not be familiar with the old Russian tale of Babushka but either way, this fun and interactive experience is great for kids and adults alike. Follow the tale of an old Russian lady as she ventures to see baby Jesus and encounters all sorts of characters and challenges along the way. The story teaches principles of sharing and morality too. The 30-minute story is presented by storytellers who bring the tale to life and interact with youngsters to get them involved. There's also a fun arts and crafts session afterwards.

World City

This insightful and interesting exhibit is perfect for families and will help you to discover a world of creativity and inspiration. Featuring a huge collection of clothing, technological artefacts and historical documents, the exhibit aims to provide visitors with a timeline of the city through the eyes of the creative and industrial industries. More than this, it will engage your little ones by showcasing all kinds of weird, wonderful and fascinating creations. Take a look at the machines of the past and discover the dresses and clothing that little boys and girls wore centuries ago. This is a must-see if you're travelling with your family this month.

People's City Gallery

The aim of this wonderful gallery is to illustrate the contrasting divide between rich and poor during the 1800s. It was a time when London was rapidly becoming overcrowded and the streets were home to more and more people every day. Ironically however, it was during this time that the richer classes were prospering the most.

The huge selection of antiques and authentic artefacts paints a picture of these times in a way that is breathtakingly beautiful and also eye-opening. The kids will love looking at all of the wonderful classic phones, clothes, books and more as they learn about the city's rich and diverse history.

London 2012 Cauldron

During the 2012 London Olympics, the city was alive with passion and emotion. The whole country came together to celebrate one of the most impressive sporting spectacles in history and this amazing exhibit at the Museum of London keeps this spirit alive. It showcases some of the unique pieces of artwork that were created for the opening ceremony. You can also view watch footage of the ceremony that will be remembered in London for decades to come.
