Having been saved from demolition just over a decade ago, this much-loved lido is now in regular use, with a heated pool and all the facilities you would expect. It closes during busy periods at lunchtime to ensure maintenance, but with a huge sundeck (complete with dedicated sunbathing area!) there’s nowhere in the capital quite as chilled out. Plus, it’s in a great location near the popular independent bars, shops and eateries of Hackney.
