This March there are a lot of exciting things to do and thrilling events to visit in London. From exploring the creative artistic genius of the European maestro Botticelli to seeing Gillian Anderson and Benedict Cumberbatch celebrate what is fast becoming a rather forgotten craft of letter writing, there is plenty to enjoy in London this spring in March. Just a few of the exciting things to do in London this month are:

People Places Things: If theater is what thrills you then drop in at Wyndham Theater at the West End to see the masterful dramatic presentation of People Places Things. It premiered last summer at the National Theater and received positive reviews from critics. It deals with the rather dark and painful world of substance addiction, where it explores a woman’s painful and moving quest to come to terms with her addiction problems. It offers a rather fresh and unique insight about a very challenging and difficult subject and is bound to have you glued to your seat. Just when you think you have the climax figured out it changes dramatically. A fine theatrical performance not to be missed! It runs from 15 March-04 June, 2016.

Daunt Spring Festival: For bibliophiles the Daunt Spring Festival at Marylebone on the 10 & 11 of March, 2016, is a dream come true.  In an age where reading has moved from books to e-publications thanks to the likes of Kindle and others, the festival offers a great platform to come up and close with contemporary literary talents. This year be ready to hear from award winning authors Elif Safak and Howard Jacobson and the very talented Max Porter, who could be described as the literary flavour of the moment! A must visit for all book lovers!

Letters Live: The art of letter writing is slowly becoming an antiquated craft with the use of modern communication technology thanks to emails and texting. Letter writing is a personalised skill which needs to be cultivated to be honed. In this technology driven era where we are getting more distant from this beautiful art, Letters Live at Freemason’s Hall is the place to be to. Be there with celebrities like Gillian Anderson, Russell Brand and the inimitable Benedict Cumberbatch, to see them spend the evenings reading from some of the most captivating historical correspondences. It features informal missives from Royalty like Queen Victoria to pop celebrities like Sir Paul McCartney. It will be from the 10-15 March this year.

Dover Street Market: If shopping is a passion head straight for one of the most innovative boutiques Dover Street Market, which moves from Mayfair to its more spacious location in the centre of the West End. You will be floored by the uber stylish creations the hallmark of the boutique, which also features designs some of the newest fashion talents around. Besides terrific shopping it offers a great opportunity to celeb-spot!  Be there on the 19th of March!

Botticelli Re-imagined: Visit the V&A Museum anytime from 05th March to 03rd July, to watch the sheer beauty of European art maestro Botticelli in all its glory. From masterpieces by the genius himself, to modern recreations as tributes, all can be enjoyed at the exhibition at the V&A Museum.
