Lord's cricket ground

A must-see attraction for cricket lovers, not only can you take a tour of Lord’s to get a peek behind the scenes, but you’ll also be able to view the iconic Ashes trophy in the Lord’s museum. It spans over 400 years of cricketing history so is a truly unique collection that true cricket fans are sure to enjoy.

Our Montcalm hotels in East London make an excellent base for anyone looking to visit Lord’s as the Tube runs every six minutes and takes just 18 minutes to arrive outside the gates.

The Oval ground

Another hot spot for cricket fans is the iconic Oval cricket ground – this ground has seen sporting greats pass through its doors for over two hundred years. Tours are available on non-match days, but if you book your room at our Montcalm Hotel London in advance, you might just be able to catch a live match taking place instead.

To reach the Oval from our East London hotels, take the Northern and Central lines, and you'll be there in just over half an hour by Tube.

If you'd prefer to drive, there is plenty of parking available at the Oval, and you'll reach your destination in just 25 minutes.

Wembley stadium tour

If football is more your thing, then don’t miss the opportunity to visit Wembley stadium and follow in the footsteps of your favourite sporting heroes.

This award-winning tour includes the dressing rooms, the press conference room, players’ tunnel, pitch side and the iconic Royal box so make sure you book in advance.

You can easily reach the stadium from the Montcalm Hotel London via Tube. Just take the Metropolitan line and you can expect to arrive in just under 40 minutes.

Wimbledon lawn tennis museum

Visit the world's most famous lawn tennis club during your next stay at our East London hotels, and you won’t be disappointed. With 90-minute tours available, you’ll also be able to get up close to the championship’s trophies during a stroll around the engaging museum exhibitions.
