London's West End is simply buzzing with excitement thanks to the arrival of some show-stopping performances, big Broadway blockbusters and musical extravaganzas to suit visitors of all ages this September.

From catchy chorus lines to hard-hitting and thought provoking narratives, a visit to the West End is a must for anyone planning to visit London this autumn, so here’s a round-up of our favourite shows to pique your interest.

The Book of Mormon – The Prince of Wales Theatre

Winner of no less than four 2014 Olivier Awards, including Best New Musical and Best Actor in a Musical, The Book of Mormon is a must-see play for anyone visiting London this September.

Follow a pair of mismatched Mormon boys on their journey to Uganda in a performance that’s packed full of political incorrectness and questionable choices of language.

Chicago – The Phoenix Theatre

Will toe-tapping musical numbers and a sensational chorus line, Chicago returns to the West End and features British star Martin Kemp in its cast for 2018.

Sexy, sassy and sophisticated, Chicago is celebrating its 21st year on stage and still receives standing ovations at each performance, so it's sure not to disappoint even the most avid theatregoer.

Tickets are available all autumn, and with just a short Tube ride taking approximately twenty minutes from our Montcalm Royal London hotel, it's a great performance that's sure to have you dancing in the aisles.

Company – The Gielgud Theatre

A musical about life, love and marriage, Company comes to the West End on the 26th of September for the autumn and winter season.

Following the story of Bobbi, a 35-year-old singleton whose family are continually questioning her marital status, Company has been re-imagined with a female role for the first time ever.

This production still features the iconic songs such as ‘being alive’ and ‘side by side’ in a heart-warming show.

Performances start at 7:30 pm, so there’s plenty of time for some pre-show cocktails and spectacular views at the Aviary Montcalm before taking a taxi from Montcalm Royal London hotel which takes just over twenty minutes.

Bat out of Hell: The Musical – The Dominion Theatre

Boasting five-star reviews and here until January 2019, Bat Out of Hell: The Musical brings the romance of rock and roll to life in this stand up and dance show!

Fun, vibrant and featuring the legendary hits form Meatloaf and Jim Steinman, you won’t be able to help being swept up in this high energy performance.

A visit to the Montcalm Royal House Spa might well be in order after seeing this show-stopping theatrical masterpiece as you'll want to go out and continue the party long after the curtain has fallen.
